Dear friends and supporters,

We’re doing all we can to support the situation in Nepal following the catastrophic earthquake last weekend.

Our girls have returned to Mustang and, as far as we know, they are safe, although isolated due to numerous landslides along the mountain trails and communication difficulties.

We wish to take action to help communities most affected and in desperate need of all kinds of help.  The founder of our school Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Rigzin is assessing the most urgent needs locally and will allocate any funds we collect for disaster relief within the community.

Please if you feel able to help at all, please make a donation via our blog site donations page:

http // / donations-needed

where you will be able to make either a direct bank transfer to Altevette-Onlus or with PayPal (direct payment from your bank or credit card).

If you can nominate your donation reason “Emergency Earthquake” we will ensure it is used where the need is greatest during this difficult time.  Please be assured that all monies will be distributed directly into the community where help is most urgently and desperately needed.

Your contribution, whatever you can afford (no amount is too small), can do much to alleviate the suffering of the victims of the earthquake.  Of course we’ll keep you informed about the destination of the funds collected by us.

Please help if you can.

Thank you very much on behalf of the people of Nepal,
